Calling all artists! Join us to draw famous characters and archetypes from beloved stories and historic periods, acted out for us by lavishly costumed figure drawing models.

Bring your preferred drawing tools and we’ll provide the benches, chairs and model set-up.

Space is limited so be sure to rsvp and save your spot. Seating is first come first served.

Sunday 1/27 1-4pm Tracey as Dickens’s Miss Havishan
Saturday 2/23 1-4pm Erika as the infamous Bellatrix Lestrange
Saturday 3/23 1-4pm Scott Forst as a medieval tinker (historically accurate costume and props)

 


 

Carolin Peters is a classically trained artist who has been teaching drawing and painting classes since 2008 at local art colleges, such as Laguna College of Art and Design, and CSULB. She takes pride in having had the chance to assist hundreds of students in their artistic evolution.

In her personal studio time Carolin combines her passion for nature and image-making.

Currently she is directing her creative energies into a center for visual artists called Cura Studios Inc.Carolin is conviction that having a creative practice is good for our well-being and that it thrives when challenged, stimulated, and cheered on.
